International Massage Festival in the Rila Hotel, Borovets
This summer Bulgaria is hosting the second INTERNATIONAL MASSAGE FESTIVAL. The first edition was held last year in Norway. We are delighted that the organizers have chosen the Rila Hotel, Borovets, as one of the four destinations in the country where the training and demonstrations will take place.
The Festival will run between the 1st and the 10th of July, starting at the Rila Hotel, Borovets, on 1st and the 2nd of July.
Join us and the 15 world-renowned therapists who will be training participants and demonstrating their skills to a wide audience during this new-to-the-country event.
Meet the participants - top therapists from around the world:
- Lucia Vargas from the Dominican Republic: freestyle world champion, will present the Signature "LUVA LV7 Massage".
- Kiong Baek from South Korea: world freestyle champion, will demonstrate gravity massage therapy.
- Takuto Kawakami from Japan, freestyle, international winner.
- Slab Marinov from UK/Bulgaria, sports massage, world champion with 9 gold medals. He will present his own unique style of massage and body correction.
- Anna Tsankova from UK/Bulgaria, facial massage, gold medalist. Presents Signature "Around the world journey through massage".
- Edina Leichter from Hungary, manual therapy. Will demonstrate Signaturemassage ' M.O.F.'
- Audie Atisogbui from Ghana/Croatia, Lomi Lomi massage, gold medalist. He will teach us authentic Hawaiian Lomi-Lomi massage.
- Rita Murauskienė from Lithuania/Denmark, freestyle, Danish champion and world silver medalist. Demonstrates bamboo massage.
- Bevan Williams of Trinidad and Tobago, manual therapy, international medalist. Will present massage techniques for sports injuries and rehabilitation.
- Lumpai Kumu, Thailand/United Kingdom. Will demonstrate Thai spa massage.
- Krista Harris, USA, freestyle and wellness, Champion of America. Demonstrates air resonance therapy, adaptive integrative massage and bodywork.
- Anna Baroni from Italy, owner of Annabel School, Signature method "Global Massage".
- Ana Kuersia from Italy, manual therapy, gold and silver medalist. She will show Signature massage "Olive oil and olive branches".
- Victor Yecchini from Italy, manual therapy, winner of the World Championship for the best clinical reasoning in manual therapy.
The Festival presenter is Nikolay Hristov - the founder of the "Khan Therapy" method and a participant in the first edition of the Festival.
The attending therapists will give demonstrations and training sessions to introduce Bulgarian therapists to a variety of massage techniques and styles. During the afternoon sessions you will have the opportunity to meet the therapists in person and ask them your questions. All enrolled participants will receive a signed certificate for their participation in the trainings, part of the Festival.
