How can I get there?
At just 70 km from Sofia Airport (50 min. by car) the Rila Hotel is situated in Borovets Resort in the heart of the the highest mountain in Bulgaria - Rila (2925m).
From Sofia Airport you can get to the Rila Hotel by hotel transfer, car or taxi. If you would like us to arrange transport for you, please contact our Guest Relations Desk via e-mail: guestrelations@rilaborovets.com or tel.: +359 882 546 749.
What documents do I need to register at the Rila Hotel?
Any guest of the hotel needs to show a valid ID card, passport or driver's license in order to be registered at the Rila Hotel.
What are the standard check-in and check-out hours of the hotel?
The standard check-in time is 3 PM and check-out is at 12 PM, noon. Upon availability you can get complimentary late check-out/early check-in if you are a member of the hotel's Loyalty Program "My Bt Collection" or for extra room charge.
Is there parking? Is it paid?
The hotel offers to its guests free parking upon availability.
Do you have rooms with family beds?
Yes, we have 123 rooms with family beds. If your room has a bed with two separate mattresses, please contact Reception and they will provide an additional top family mattress.
Are pets allowed?
No. Exceptions are made only for certified assistance dogs.
Can I smoke in the room?
All rooms are non-smoking. However, the rooms are with balconies, where guests can smoke.
Is there a safe in the room?
No. You can use a safety deposit box at the Reception Desk.
Is there Wi-Fi network in the rooms? Is it free?
Yes, there is. The Wi-Fi coverage in the rooms and in the common areas of the hotel is free of charge for all guests.
What forms of payment are accepted?
You can pay cash or with debit or credit card - MasterCard and Visa. You can also present a voucher for a pre-paid stay.
Do you have a luggage room?
Yes. The hotel will keep your luggage for a limited time after check-out.
Is there a Medical center in the hotel?
No. Please ask Guest Relations or Reception to call for medical assistance or to guide you to the nearby Medical Center in Borovets Resort.
Restaurants & Bars
How many restaurants do you have at the hotel?
The hotel has five restaurants: three a-la-cartе - "Samokovi", "The Terrace Lounge" and "Champions" Bar & Diner, and two buffet restaurants - "Seasons" and "Les Arcs". There is also a night club "After Eleven".
Do I need to make a reservation for the restaurants?
We would recommend that you book in advance for the a-la-carte restaurants, especially "Samokovi" and "The Terrace Lounge" during the winter season.
Can I celebrate a special event at the Rila Hotel?
Yes, you can celebrate any personal, corporate or other special event in our restaurants and venues. All you need to do is contact our Events Department at: events@rilaborovets.com and discuss the details with our team. We will take care of everything you need.
If I am not a guest of the hotel, can I visit your restaurants and bars?
Everyone is welcome to visit and enjoy our restaurants and bars.
Do you have vegetarian options for diners?
All restaurants and bars offer vegetarian dishes.
Do you offer room service?
We offer room-service with working hours: 11:00 - 22:30. You can simply dial 2222 from your room phone and order in-room dining, from the room service menu in your room.
Do you offer kid's menu?
All the restaurants and bars offer dishes suitable for children.
Do you have a wine list?
Our restaurants and bars offer a great selection of red, white, rosé and sparkling wines. You can find the wine lists on our website in the "Restaurants & Bars" Section.
Do you allow smoking in the restaurants and bars?
Our indoor dining outlets are non-smoking. You can smoke at the terraces of "The Terrace Lounge", "Seasons", "Les Arcs" and "Champions" Lobby Bar & Diner.

What is the temperature of the water in the swimming pool?
The temperature of the water in the swimming pool is the standard temperature for this type of pools - 28°C.
Do you have massages for children?
Yes, we have massages for children over the age of 6. For more information please contact our SPA Reception at: 0750 900 05/ext. 3.
Weddings & Banquets
Is it possible a wedding ceremony to be organized and performed in the open?
We do offer several options for wedding ceremony in the open. Please contact our "Еvents" team for more information.

We host and organize more than 300 events each year - conferences, meetings, teambuidings, social events, etc.
Do you have rooms with two separate beds?
Yes, we have 320 rooms with two separate beds.

All meeting rooms have free Wi-Fi internet coverage.
Can you provide us with a place for event registration?
