Programming for children
This summer, as part of the summer activities, the Rila Hotel is hosting programming workshops for children (6 - 14 years old), which combine the useful with the pleasant. The courses are organized by MindHub.
For the first time, hotel guests will be able to enroll their children in a workshop, where they will construct programs containing a set of instructions, with which they will control the behaviour of various robots, create interesting animations, games, 3D worlds and other fun activities.
MindHub is a network of programming academies for children and youth from 6 to 15 years of age, which for the past 7 years have been providing modern and
engaging digital education for children in 8 countries in Europe, Africa and Asia. The tools that MindHub works with are innovative and designed specifically for teaching kids to code. The methods by which children learn programming in MindHub are entirely based on Gamification and Experiential Learning. By creating projects, games and animations and programming the behavior of robots, children acquire skills and competencies important for the professions of the future. MindHub's courses, workshops and summer academies are specially designed for children and young people between the ages of 6 and 15, and develop logical and analytical thinking as well as teamwork.
